24 Hours CHOPIN PLUS - Special Concert with Yukio YOKOYAMA

24 Hours Too Short? How About a Bonus Night! 24 Hours CHOPIN ends at 5:00 p.m. on February 21, 2027, but don't leave just yet! At 6:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall, we'll put on the 24 Hours CHOPIN PLUS – Special Concert, at which you'll hear all the other opus-numbered works by CHOPIN not performed during the 24 Hours Series, such as his early Piano Sonata No. 1 (Op. 4), written in Poland; Four Mazurkas (Op. 6), which spurred this type of composition; some pieces you may not even know about: Boléro (Op. 19), Tarantella (Op. 43), Three Écossaises (Op. 72, No. 3); and all the polonaises not performed during the series. So you'll get to hear many of his rare treats! And who's going to make this bonus possible? None other than Japanese pianist Yukio YOKOYAMA, the Guinness World Record-holder for playing the greatest number of CHOPIN pieces in one day. It is through his effort that Weiwuying will make sure each and every CHOPIN piece is given its time in the limelight! Creative and Production Team Piano｜Yukio YOKOYAMA
