About
Known for his “tasteful restraint and explosive energy” ( The Guardian ), guest conductor Kevin John Edusei makes his VSO debut with a concert celebrating two of the Romantic era’s premier composers. Described as “superb” by The New York Times, pianist Jeremy Denk performs Brahms’ stormy and emotionally powerful First Piano Concerto. After the storm clears, bask in the warm glow of Dvořák’s spontaneous and upbeat Eighth Symphony.
