About
Celebrated for “playing that flows from the heart” ( The New York Times ), Anne Akiko Meyers returns to the VSO for the BC première of Philip Glass’s mesmerizing First Violin Concerto. Maestro Tausk then leads two Stravinsky favourites: his explosive suite from The Firebird and the sparklingly elegant concerto, Dumbarton Oaks.
