About
The Budapest Intergeese Trio is on tour with Cimbalom, double bass and percussion – and fittingly for the ensemble, they prefer to move between styles. In their concerts, Hungarian folk music meets jazz, classical (such as from György Kurtág or Béla Bartók) and post-rock. Áron Horváth, who already virtuously played the Hungarian variant of Cimbalom as a child, was awarded for his art, among other things, as ECHO Rising Star. He was recognized not only for his stunning virtuosity with which he uses his mallets – but also for the innovative imagination with which he presents his instrument in concert halls and jazz venues.
