About
Giorgi Gigashvili, the 26-year-old Georgian pianist, fits perfectly into his career trajectory for the spartenübergreifende tonhalleLATE event. Initially, a professional career was not a topic of interest, as he focused primarily on arranging Georgian folk songs and pop tunes. Now, he plays the solo part in Ravel's extremely popular Piano Concerto in G Major. Before that, Paavo Järvi conducts Beethoven's 'Fidelio' Overture. And once again, it's classic meets electronic – and a party until early morning hours.
