Jugend Sinfonieorchester Zürich

You are between 14 and 24 years old, skilled on your instruments—and highly motivated to play in an orchestra. Since 1987, young people have had the opportunity to participate in the Jugend Sinfonieorchester Zürich (JSOZ), which is closely linked as a Junior Music Partner to the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich. It is conducted by our solo trumpeter David Bruchez-Lalli. Anita Leuzinger—the solo cellist, who is also a member of the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich—was already a member of the JSOZ as a young person. For the 40th anniversary, JSOZ alumni and young musicians are coming together to celebrate this special event together.
