Once again this season, the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich participates in Sonic Matter, the festival for experimental music. The event begins with Dieter Ammann's 'unbalanced instability' – a work that demands a certain balance and stability from the performers to bring out its character. Carolin Widmann takes on the solo part, who has long been intensively engaged with contemporary works. Afterwards, Finn Hannu Linttu conducts the Tetralogy 'Tzimtzum' of the 1980-born German composer Sarah Nemtsov.
