Orchestra Lunch Concert with Tugan Sokhiev

Tugan Sokhiev's second appearance is scheduled with the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich after his first performance at the legendary New Year's Concert of the Wiener Philharmoniker. The work he conducts in this lunch concert is as famous as Strauss waltzes: Berlioz' «Symphonie fantastique» belongs to the hits of the classical repertoire. A critic once praised Sokhiev for the 'controlled anarchy' he unleashes in this music: The soundstorm is not only enjoyed, but also precisely and nuanced shaped.
