We open with the contemporary piece “Starve” by Canadian composer, Cecilia Livingston. Experience Krommer’s vibrant Symphony No. 2, an early Romantic work reminiscent of Beethoven. Schubert’s Symphony No. 5, an homage to the classical masters Mozart and Haydn, provides a finale you won’t soon forget! Note: The Saturday matinee is a shorter performance without an intermission. It does not include the violin concerto.
