About
This new interpretation of Federico García Lorca’s text makes Bodas de Sangre a great musical event. The new opera has been created by Manuel Busto and is based on one of the most famous tragedies of Spanish theatre, by Federico García Lorca. The stage director for the brand new work will be Barbara Lluch and the musical direction of the composer. The main themes covered in this great drama are life and death. They are dealt with in a mysterious, ancestral way, with myths, legends and landscapes introducing the reader into a world of dark passions leading to jealousy, persecution and, in a tragic ending, death. Love stands out as the only force that can overcome it.
