Chamber Concert VI

For over six decades, Chamber Concerts featuring musicians of the State Opera have been a permanent fixture in the concert program. This season, ensembles are focusing on the grand theme 'Freedom', inspired by and connected to the upcoming Beethoven Jubilee in 2027. The idea of personal and artistic freedom, which Ludwig van Beethoven particularly embodied in his life and work, serves as a starting point for a broad programmatic variety that encompasses various main ideas, configurations, and styles. Béla Bartók's String Quartet No. 1 and Ludwig van Beethoven's String Quartet in C minor op. 131 are included in the program. The pre-sale starts on Thursday, 28. May at 12.00 Uhr. Composition: Violin: Kyumin Park , Jueyoung Yang, Viola: Holger Espig, Violoncello: Joan Bachs
