Chamber Concert V

For over six decades, Chamber Concerts featuring musicians of the State Opera have been a permanent fixture in the concert program. This season, the ensembles are dedicated to the grand theme 'Freedom', inspired by and connected to the upcoming Beethoven Jubilee in 2027. The idea of personal and artistic freedom, which Ludwig van Beethoven particularly embodied in his life and work, serves as a starting point for a broad programmatic variety that encompasses various main ideas, configurations, and styles. Ludwig van Beethoven's String Quartet B-Major op. 130 (with 'Great Fugue') and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy's String Quartet a-Minor op. 13 are included in the program. The pre-sale starts on Thursday, 28. May at 12.00 Uhr. The lineup is as follows: Violin: Eva Römisch, Andreas Jentzsch, Eva Römisch, Andreas Jentzsch, Viola: Wolfgang Hinzpeter, Violoncello: Johanna Helm.
