Chamber Concert III

For over six decades, Chamber Concerts featuring musicians of the State Opera have been a permanent fixture in the concert program. This season, the ensembles are focusing on the grand theme 'Freedom', inspired by and connected to the upcoming Beethoven Jubilee in 2027. The idea of personal and artistic freedom, which Ludwig van Beethoven particularly embodied in his life and work, serves as a starting point for a broad programmatic variety that encompasses various main ideas, configurations, and styles. Philip Venables' Klaviertrio im Geiste Ludwig van Beethoven's Klaviertrio D-Dur op. 70/1 Geistertrio and Olivier Messiaen's Quatuor pour la fin du temps for Clarinet, Violin, Cello, Piano are included in the program.
