Dresdance

Following the wonderful success of the first Dresdance Gala in March 2025, the initiative expands in April 2027 to two galas, in which the audience can experience the entire spectrum of dance events in Dresden at the Staatsoperette. The historical dance city Dresden still presents itself today as a center of dance in various forms, from experimental performance to operetta, musical, contemporary dance, and classical ballet. Dresdance is an invitation to the various actors in the Dresden dance scene, from established institutions such as the Semperoper Ballett and the Ballett der Staatsoperette to representatives of the independent dance scene, to meet on one stage. Thus, the event creates spaces for exchange and mutual inspiration and sets a strong sign for the development of (dance) coexistence in Dresden and beyond.
