Onegin

It is considered the most successful narrative ballet filling an entire evening in the second half of the 20th century and the only one that can stand alongside key works of ballet classics such as Swan Lake or Sleeping Beauty: John Crankos' Onegin. This ballet, based on Alexander Pushkin's verse novel (1833), premiered in 1965 with the Stuttgart Ballet, played a significant role in the so-called 'Stuttgart Ballett Miracle,' and has captivated ballet stages around the world over the past 60 years.
