About
Xian Zhang leads a program that glows from first note to last, beginning with Jessie Montgomery’s Hymn for Everyone, which opens like a warm embrace. Spanish guitar virtuoso Pablo Sainz-Villegas brings the sun-soaked passion of Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez, its timeless “Adagio” aching with beauty, and Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 2 overflows with charming themes and melodies—the kind that leave listeners humming.
