About
Musicians from Marlboro tours offer national audiences a glimpse into the magic that happens each summer at “the classical world’s most coveted retreat” ( The New Yorker ) in Vermont. This season’s second MFM tour, led by former Juilliard Quartet violinist Joseph Lin, features a first half of music for strings and voice by former Marlboro resident composers Earl Kim and Kaija Saariaho. The program concludes with Brahms’ rich and symphonically textured String Quartet in A Minor, Op. 51, No. 2.
