Artisan's Workshop

A creative afternoon for the whole family at the heart of the Ateliers de la Monnaie. In the workshops of la Monnaie, meticulous craftsmanship is at the source of everything that comes to life on an opera stage: delicate embroidery and handcrafted accessories, as well as monumental canvases and impressive sets. Why not learn the trades practiced there during a workshop? Parents and children get their hands dirty, using needles, hammers, and brushes. Together, they discover the different stages of opera creation. At the end of the activity, everyone leaves with their own creation: a concrete souvenir of a creative afternoon behind the scenes of la Monnaie.
