Ariadne auf Naxos

Opéra L’homme le plus riche de Vienne presents a spectacular event with a new opera seria, Ariadne auf Naxos. The composer faces an unexpected challenge as his work shares the stage with a buffet, comedy, and fireworks. The host alters the program, having the tragedy and comedy performed simultaneously. Ariane Matiakh conducts Richard Strauss's refined score, with solo roles for each musician. Director Mariusz Treliński sets the story in the future. Young attendees under 30 can join the Soirée Young Opera on 26.1.2027 for a personalized experience.
