About
Concert: The Three Last Symphonies of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, products of a creative surge in 1788, summarize not only the genius of the composer but also the history of symphonic music until the end of the 18th century. Throughout the Symphony No. 40, written in the dramatic key of G minor, pain and sensuality intertwine with intensity, while the original key of C major of the Symphony No. 41 (known as 'Jupiter') announces an epic work. The Freiburger Barockorchester, renowned for its authentic interpretation of the repertoire of the 18th century, will undoubtedly reveal its richness. Artist in residence in Brussels this season, Jeanine De Bique will join the ensemble to perform a selection of arias from Mozart's timeless operas, a universe that is no longer a secret to the soprano from Trinidad.
