About Last Night

Recital: A woman wakes up with a solid hangover, an unknown man in her bed and hazy memories of the night before... This is the starting point for this delightful solo cabaret, where mezzo-soprano Marina Viotti explores the joys and torments of love through a musically eclectic array: arias from operas such as Carmen and Samson et Dalila, melodies by Maurice Ravel and Erik Satie, but also songs by Jacques Brel and a little air from Buena Vista Social Club. In a flirtatious dialogue with the audience, she shows that when it comes to romantic encounters, music remains the best guide.
