His career took off in 2016 when he took on the position of Assistant Conductor with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra under Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla. With the start of the 2024/25 season, Jonathan Bloxham became Chief Conductor of the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie. Previously, he was successful as a cellist and performed regularly at the Wigmore Hall in London as well as on renowned stages throughout Europe. Bloxham studied cello before turning to conducting.Federico Colli studied at the Milan Conservatory, the Imola International Piano Academy, and the Salzburg Mozarteum with Sergio Marengoni, Konstantin Bogino, Boris Petrushansky, and Pavel Gililov. In 2011, he received the Grosso d’Argento from the mayor of Brescia for his artistic achievements, and in 2014, he was selected by the magazine International Piano as one of the 30 Pianists Under 30 who will dominate the world stage in the coming years.
