SOMNIUM

Johannes Kepler’s story “Somnium,” published as early as 1608, describes a journey to the moon and is thus considered one of the first works of science fiction. Inspired by this, the ensemble gamut inc has developed a staged concert for the Konzerthaus organ, a narrator, and their two BLACK SQUARE modular organs. As in Kepler’s dream vision, listeners become witnesses to a fantastical and psychedelic universe that always eludes the earthly observer.Founded by the composer duo Marion Wörle and Maciej Śledziecki, the Berlin-based ensemble gamut inc has been performing internationally since 2013
