About
Singing is powerful: Therefore, we once again warmly invite all interested parties to participate in creating an unforgettable concert. Here, the audience becomes part of a large vocal ensemble, and it doesn't matter whether they already have experience in a choir, prefer to join in spontaneous pub singing – or hum along in the car or in the shower. In this format, the focus is simply on letting go and immersing oneself in the music, enjoying the unique experience, and then taking away the energy and feelings of joy. Anyone can therefore become part of a huge community of over 1,000 singing people – led by Howard Arman at the conductor's podium, who ensures the artistic refinement and cohesion with his friendly and witty style. The Bamberger Symphoniker and the professionals from the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation support the enthusiastic audience. On a single day, the program will be created and performed on site in the evening. This year's sing-along concert, appropriately for Remembrance Sunday, will focus on one of Mozart's most moving compositions: This unfinished Requiem from 1791 combines sublime beauty with dramatic intensity. This will certainly be a moving event – after all, the composer once said aptly: "Without music, there is nothing."
