Youth Makes Music

More than half a million young people have participated in the "Jugend musiziert" competition since its founding in 1964. Many of them now play in renowned orchestras or have become famous soloists. And some of them may remember the moment when they nervously presented themselves to the jury. The concert of the regional winners from North Rhine-Westphalia is a special highlight, especially for the young musicians themselves. Because now, it's not just about convincing a jury, but about proving themselves to the audience in a large concert hall. To the delight of the audience, because here, the young stars of tomorrow are performing.
