Fortuna Ehrenfeld

The master calls, and everyone comes: when Martin Bechler invites fans to a solo concert, there's no stopping them. Few musicians in Cologne can count themselves lucky enough to have such a loyal fan base as the frontman of the cult band Fortuna Ehrenfeld. One man, one piano: Martin Bechler's solo concerts have been a popular counterpart to Fortuna Ehrenfeld's band concerts for several years now, eagerly awaited by the Cologne indie combo's community. Here, there is no hiding behind the overall sound of a band – what Mr Bechler performs here comes across as raw, direct and unfiltered. Classics such as »Pech und Schwefel« and »Brüsseler Platz« shine in a whole new light.
