Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 in D minor

Regarded as one of the most significant cultural monuments in human history, the Ninth Symphony by Ludwig van Beethoven culminates in its fourth movement in a choral hymn based on Friedrich Schiller’s Ode »To Joy« – conveying the central message: »All people become brothers«. The Ninth Symphony is a musical vision of a better world. Even 200 years after its creation, it has lost none of its power or relevance.
