About
A moment of reflection for Dvořák, gazing towards Bohemia and America. The 39th installment of our popular weekday afternoon series, "Trio AXIS: Dvořák's Homage to His Homeland," will be held in March, and is a concert with a talk. This event will provide a clear explanation of the historical context in which Dvořák left Bohemia and traveled to America, and the impact that the new musical culture of the continent had on the composer. Knowing this background before the concert will significantly change the way you experience the music.
