About
On Sundays at 12, the Baron of Suites plays Handel and Bach, with a focus on Bach's fugues. Mozart's early career was influenced by Bach's music, and the Gewandhaus concert featured Bach-singing Thomaner. The trompeter Weidinger performed Haydn's concerto, showcasing the chromatic capabilities of the klappentrompete. Pärt's 'Concerto piccolo' blends Bach's B-A-C-H motif with avant-garde elements, reflecting his enduring influence on classical music.
