Gewandhausorchester & Lucas & Arthur Jussen

On the eve of the first Advent, the Gewandhausorchester under Andris Nelsons presents a festive concert blending musical excellence with active solidarity. The proceeds support projects offering new opportunities to young people in the region. Since its first concert 'Zum Wohle der Armen' in 1782, the orchestra has been part of a living tradition of responsibility. Today, it collaborates with local partners to support the foundation 'Leipzig hilft Kindern'. The concert features Lucas and Arthur Jussen in Mozart's KV 365 and Brahms' 1st Symphony, creating an atmosphere of emotional depth and the spirit of the Advent season.
