Verdi Requiem

When Verdi's Requiem resounds, the audience holds its breath. As an opera dressed in liturgical attire, the work captivates with intense emotions of fear, sorrow, and anger, culminating in great hope and confidence. The famous tremor of the 'Dies Irae' causes shivers, while the intimate arias and ensemble scenes of the soloists deeply move the hearts of all. Verdi created here a sound painting of overwhelming beauty that will echo in every one of us.
