About
A song can evoke memories and emotions that are deeply personal – while also bringing people together across differences, backgrounds, and generations. Over the years, DR Girls' Choir has performed at a wide range of concerts and events, with songs that have held special significance for both the choir and the audience. Now, we are bringing together some of the most powerful songs and choral works in a special concert, created in collaboration between the choir and the audience. The choir members will select a number of their own favorite songs and choral works, and when you purchase a ticket to the concert, you will be able to help choose the final repertoire by voting for the titles you would most like to experience live with DR Girls' Choir in the Concert Hall. As part of the voting process, we hope you will also be willing to share your personal experiences or memories related to the songs. The concert will be presented by the choir members, along with conductor Charlotte Rowan. DR Concert Hall hosts around 300 different events each year, catering to all age groups and genres, and now you will have the opportunity to gain a unique insight into what is happening on stage, behind the scenes, and in the audience before selected concerts featuring DR's choirs and orchestras.
