Following previous years' concerts, the vocal ensemble UngKlang returns with an expanded version of the concept "UngKlang Celebrates International Women's Day." The program features new arrangements by prominent female artists, as well as original works by the choir. The music spans genres and traditions, creating connections between the fragile and the powerful, the intimate and the grand. The ensemble works at the intersection of honoring and challenging the classical choral tradition. UngKlang uses choral music as its foundation, and combines their shared musical background with classical vocal techniques in collaboration with rhythmic and experimental elements to create new expressions. The concert invites listeners to be moved and to participate in a shared celebration of artistic and collective strength.
