About
The period leading up to Easter is a time for reflection, contemplation, and serious thought. Therefore, it has become a common tradition to perform the large Requiem Masses, which explore the major existential questions about life and death. This offers a rare opportunity to experience one of the most compelling works in the genre, performed by the DR Concert Choir in the Concert Hall. It will be a particularly intimate and special experience, as the choir's 74 singers perform a rare version of Mozart's Requiem, accompanied by a smaller chamber ensemble. Under the direction of conductor Carsten Seyer-Hansen, Mozart's unfinished masterpiece will unfold as an opportunity for a meditative experience, both in words and in sound – a concert that opens the Easter season with peace, contemplation, and space for reflection. DR Concert Hall hosts approximately 300 different events each year, catering to all age groups and genres. Now, you have the opportunity to gain a unique insight into what is happening behind the scenes before, during, and after selected concerts featuring the DR Choir and Orchestra.
