The Bach Choir & Orchestra of the Netherlands: St Matthew Passion

Bach’s St Matthew Passion is certainly the Netherlands’ favourite composition during the pre-Easter (‘Passion’) season, and it’s firmly embedded in our culture. Today, you can hear it performed with smaller forces. This gives the audience an even better view of the musicians, and brings out the musical details to the fullest.
