Michael Feinstein and the Carnegie Hall Big Band celebrate history’s greatest almost Oscar winners. Enjoy a fresh new perspective on bona fide classics, including “Cheek to Cheek” (Top Hat) and “The Trolley Song” (Meet Me in St. Louis); surprise contenders like “Rainbow Connection” (The Muppet Movie) and “Somewhere Out There” (An American Tail); unique entries like “Nobody Does it Better” (The Spy Who Loved Me)—the first James Bond theme song given its own title; and much more.
