About
International piano sensation Lukas Sternath makes headlines in any performance setting—from the International ARD Music Competition, where he won multiple prizes, including six special prizes at age 21; to the legendary Salzburg Festival, where The New York Times referenced a recent teacher of Sternath’s: “With a sound distinct from [Igor] Levit’s, he nevertheless has his teacher’s uncanny gift of communicating through the piano as if it were a tuneful cello. His thoughts, mature and considered, couldn’t have been more vividly expressed.” Don’t miss this rising star from Vienna in his Carnegie Hall recital debut.
