The Rite of Spring

Do not miss the Calgary Phil performing groundbreaking works that expanded the sound of orchestral music. Conducted by Roderick Cox, this concert takes you from the sensual dreamworld of a faun in Debussy's Prélude to Stravinsky's hypnotic score for The Rite of Spring. Along the way, Edgar Moreau plumbs the expressive depths of Dutilleux’s atmospheric cello concerto.
