Palau de la Música Catalana
Designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner and inaugurated in 1908, the Palau de la Música Catalana is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the finest examples of Catalan Modernisme. Its ornate concert hall, bathed in natural light through a stained-glass skylight, seats 2,200 and is home to the Orfeó Català choral society.
Auditorio de Tenerife
Designed by Santiago Calatrava and opened in 2003, the Auditorio de Tenerife Adán Martín is one of the most distinctive concert halls in the world. Its sweeping white concrete shell and dramatic wave-like roof rise above the Santa Cruz waterfront. The main Sala Sinfónica seats 1,616 and is home to the Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife.
Teatro Real Madrid
Teatro Real is Spain's principal opera house, located on the Plaza de Isabel II in central Madrid. Opened in 1850, it seats 1,746 and presents a full season of opera, ballet, and concerts. It has hosted world premieres and major international productions, and is home to the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid.
Gran Teatre del Liceu
The Gran Teatre del Liceu is one of Europe's most prestigious opera houses, situated on Barcelona's famous La Rambla. Founded in 1847, it seats 2,292 and has been a cornerstone of Catalonia's cultural life. After a devastating fire in 1994, the house was rebuilt and reopened in 1999 with enhanced facilities. It hosts a full season of opera, ballet, and concerts, with a particular commitment to Catalan artists and world premieres.
