Designed by Jean Nouvel and opened in 2000 on the shores of Lake Lucerne, the KKL (Kultur- und Kongresszentrum Luzern) is celebrated for its striking cantilevered roof and world-class acoustics. The Concert Hall seats 1,840 and is home to the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra and the acclaimed Lucerne Festival.
