Exquisitely crafted musical textures await you at the concert by la fonte musica and Michele Pasotti. A selection of contemporary string and wind instruments, along with a lute, accompany the seven singers in works by leading Renaissance composers such as Guillaume Dufay, Johannes Ockeghem and Josquin Desprez. The fact that these composers also admired one another is demonstrated by commemorative compositions from the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries, through which the composers paid tribute to one another.
