Gedenkkonzert für Heinrich Schiff

Ten years ago, Heinrich Schiff passed away – hailed as the "master of subtle tones and unrestrained expression" (Die Presse). Now, former students are commemorating the significant cellist and conductor with a special memorial concert, honoring his artistic legacy. The program includes works by Beethoven, Offenbach, and Schumann, as well as those by Julius Klengel, for solo cello and with piano, and cello ensemble. A special guest is pianist Elisabeth Leonskaja, who had a long-standing artistic friendship with Heinrich Schiff.
