Cat Power

Cat Power's original name is Charlyn Marie Marshall. The artist name, under which the American Singer-Songwriter is now known, was originally the name of her first band. Now Cat Power performs solo – and extremely successfully. Singer-Songwriter with Soul With her melancholic voice and emotional, introspective songs, Cat Power has influenced the Indie- and Alternative-Scene since the 1990s. Her music combines Folk, Blues, Soul and Rock. Albums like 'Moon Pix' (1998) and 'The Greatest' (2006) are considered milestones of her unique, minimalist style. Return to Vienna Concert House Her debut at the Vienna Concert House was in July 2024 – here she presented songs that Bob Dylan presented on his legendary 'Royal Albert Hall Concert' tour in 1966, powerfully brought to performance. Now we look forward to the return of the Indie-Star on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of her legendary album 'The Greatest'.
