About
Bigtree Recorder Ensemble specially invites recorder icon Dorothee Oberlinger and keyboard master Peter Kofler to Taiwan. Titled after Couperin's Les Nations, the concert creates a dialogue between the "wind" of the recorder and the "feather" of the harpsichord. Traversing German counterpoint by Bach, Italian passion by Vivaldi, and French and English court classics, it weaves a brilliant musical map of Europe. Recreating the golden era of 17th- and 18th-century early music, Oberlinger will perform " The Golden Fish, an award-winning original composition by Taiwanese youth player Wen-Cheng Wei. They will also join forces for Vivaldi's La Follia and Uccellini's La Bergamasca, sparking powerful transnational early music chemistry!
