2027 Bumper Harvest Concert

This concert brings together the elegance of traditional Chinese winds and strings with the dynamic power of gongs and drums, weaving a vibrant musical tapestry of poetry and vitality. The journey begins with the serene melodies of Jasmine Flower, wanders through the rugged desert peaks of Wu Ling with the dizi, and leaps into the mystical world of Dance of the Shaman Heavenly Gods on the sheng. The pipa then paints the warm glow of Sunset of Golden Autumn, followed by spirited suona tones echoing across the vast frontiers in Scenery of the Frontier. Brilliant young soloists breathe contemporary vitality into these traditional instruments. Surging forward with the wind in The Colorful River, the orchestra culminates in the resounding, thunderous celebration of Harvest Gongs and Drums, rejoicing with the audience in an era of peace, abundance, and prosperity.
