About
Two choirs named "Ya Yun," from Kaohsiung and Taipei, come together through music and perform on the same stage at Weiwuying. The Kaohsiung Yayun Choir, founded in 1999, has devoted itself to choral artistry for 27 years, regularly participating in concerts organized by the Kaohsiung Choral Association and engaging in charitable performances to share warmth through music. The Taipei Yayun Women's Choir, founded in 2002, has taken part in events such as the Taiwan Bank Arts Festival, hospital outreach performances, church concerts, and correctional institution music programs, spreading care and inspiration through singing. This concert also features guest artists from Japan. Violinist Satoki NAGAOKA is currently an associate professor at Hokkaido University of Education and is active in Japan's classical music scene. Soprano Mako NISHIMOTO graduated from Musashino Academia Musicae and is active on the opera stage. We sincerely invite audiences to join us in appreciating the beauty of music.
