About
When Bella Chia-Ying Tang moved to the UK at fourteen, her teacher gave her a recording by Dinu Lipatti. The pianist she never met became her 'unseen teacher', inspiring a lifelong question: how can we learn from the past while finding a voice of our own? Through four works and introductions, this recital invites listeners into the distinctive sound world of each piece. Inspired by Lipatti's purity and serenity, Bella hopes to offer through music something of the comfort and light she has found in faith.
