About
The Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich brings another composition by Swiss David Philip Hefti to its premiere, following a family piece, a cello concert, and an orchestral work. The Swedish soprano Lisa Larsson is particularly known to the Zurich audience from her time with the ensemble of the Opernhaus; she sings songs from her Scandinavian homeland. Furthermore, Paavo Järvi conducts Mahler's Symphony No. 5: The recording of this work has earned him and the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich several awards – in anticipation of the performance in Baden-Baden, it is now to be experienced live once more.
