About
Finally crowned after 2000 shared performances since their founding in 1996, Alain Schudel and Daniel Schaerer celebrate their anniversary with a gala concert at the Tonhalle Zürich. The two cellists with Master's and Soloist diplomas have accumulated experiences at the Bayerische Staatsoper München and the Oper Zürich. In search of advancement opportunities, they found a way from the pit to the stage with their Cello-Comedy. They have been entertaining our young audience for many years with music, humor, and whimsical ideas. Inspired by the model of Master cellist Jacques Offenbach, they developed, along with author Charles Lewinsky and director Dominique Müller, a stage program with much cello music for adults for their 30-year anniversary. Children are also welcome at this event.
