The "Surprise Concerts" feature performances by students from the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), offering a half-hour of chamber music to prepare attendees for the main concert. These performances often include rare and unusual pieces of music. Admission is CHF 10 at the box office, or with a valid ticket for the subsequent concert.
